While Mental Health Awareness Month has just concluded, we should continue to raise awareness and keep the conversation going. One of the goals of Angst is to help break the stigma around the topic of anxiety and mental health in order to start the healing process together. A few helpful ways that can help reduce stigma include:

  • Don’t be afraid or feel shame when discussing mental health
  • Make sure to view people with mental health as people
  • Speak up if you are noticing signs
  • Be an advocate
  • Be honest and open about your own mental health
