Our friends will often look to us for advice, but sometimes they will ask us for help regarding their mental health. You should feel honored that you have a friend that trusts you enough with something that is often times very personal and difficult to open up about. But knowing the right thing to say is not always easy. This week’s featured article gives a few tips on how to offer support.

– Listen
– Validate what he or she is saying
– Ask how you can help
– Be understanding of any limitations
